Main Street Widening:
A very important meeting will be held at the Crown Plaza Savannah Restaurant on May 22, 2019 at 8AM. This will not be a Breakfast meeting unless you choose to stay after the meeting.
We will have Jim Knight from the FDOT and a COJ Planning Department person, possibly Bill Killingworth. The meeting will be about widening Main Street from New Berlin to at least Pecan Park
Road. If Federal funding was available then go to the Nassau County line and add a light for Yellow Bluff Road. Main Street has been a total mess with morning and evening to and from work traffic.
School traffic and Lunch traffic also cause issues. Your input about this area would be helpful to convince the authorities there is a need.
